Why did you join KSB?

I joined KSB because I enjoy the research and casual way of discussion that a podcast entails. Also I wanted to contribute to work that supports people of color, which I found in KSB. Besides those reasons I now appreciate KSB for being a laid back multi-cultural community where we learn, talk, and have fun.

What is your favorite KSB episode and why?

My favorite episode is “Nothing About Us, Without Us.” It describes how museums misinterpret people of color through their exhibits, which usually aren’t formed with the input of the people whose culture is being displayed. The guest was artist Debra Yepa-Papuan, an indigenous woman who helped curate the Native Truths exhibit at the Chicago Field Museum - she is extremely intelligent. The Episode was very well done
